Fixed Blade Survival Knife with Sheath and Fire Starter, Green/Non-Serrated, The Monstrum Tactical SK01 is a rugged fixed blade survival knife built tough for outdoor, camping, hiking or survival use. The sturdy full tang blade is forged from hardened 440 stainless steel designed for wear resistance and less frequent sharpening. The blade has a black powder coated surface to reduce glare and for resistance to scratching. The handle is cylindrical in shape with a textured, rubberized gripping surface providing a firm and comfortable grip for a variety of applications. The tungsten carbide skull crusher pommel at the base of the knife is designed for cutting or breaking glass or for other tasks requiring blunt force. The knife is 10.5 inches in total length and 7 ounces in total weight. The blade is 5.75 inches in length and 1 inch wide at its base. The cylindrical handle is 4.75 inches in length and 1.3 inches in diameter. The package includes a high-quality, durable nylon holster with a hardened plastic blade sheath. The sheath has a button down strap for securing the knife, as well as velcro straps in the rear for attaching to tactical belts or MOLLE webbing. The holster is 6 ounces in total weight. The package also includes a free magnesium fire starter, with its own detachable carrying pouch. Striking the fire starter against the uncoated steel segment on the back of the blade will produce a spark for starting fires. The fire starter is a compact 3 inches in length and a perfect addition to any bug-out bag or survival pack.
