cable-ends-service, The cable end caps are used to cover the end of the brake and shift cables and prevent the cable from getting frayed. The caps slide on to the end of the cable and crimped to lock in place.Please note: if you use hydraulic disc brakes, the cable end cap is not used. Cable end caps are only used on mechanical disc brakes.
