Geissele SD-3G Super Dynamic 3-Gun AR-15/AR-10 Trigger, Geissele Triggers are precision-made in the USA to help you squeeze more accuracy and better performance out of your rifle. Designed specifically for 3-Gun competitors, the SD-3G has a shortened pull length and a lightning-quick reset to give it a unique hybrid trigger pull that is a cross between a traditional 2-stage and single-stage trigger-while still retaining the safety and robustness of a 2-stage combat trigger. The SD-3G's flat trigger bow further enhances the trigger's performance by reducing the perceived pull weight and improving the trigger's tactile feedback, making it ideally suited for competition shooting. The SD3G trigger has a very short, light pull and reset. Geissele does not recommend it for duty use, bench rest, accuracy work or shooting small groups. It is designed for close course competition use where rapid target engagement with quick follow-up shots are required. More on the Mechanics Geissele uses the most sophisticated manufacturing methods to deliver a truly outstanding trigger pull. All sear surfaces are precisely cut by a wire EDM machine, which leaves a non-directional surface finish for a smooth trigger pull without the associated grittiness normally left by milling machines. The initial force needed to start the disengagement of the sear surfaces is low, and the force increases linearly at a low rate. This helps the hammer to fall at the desired point of aim and builds shooter confidence in the weapon's ability to place rounds on the point of aim. A full force hammer spring is used for quick lock-time and positive ignition of all ammunition types. No lightened hammer spring is used. The hammer itself is lighter than a standard AR-15 hammer, further decreasing lock-time and increasing accuracy of the weapon. The net effect is greater accuracy and precision while shooting on the move, shooting with the weapon in movement, and during increased cadences of fire. 2-stage, semi-automatic Non-adjustabl
