Atomic focused its design on protection and comfort with less weight--and it shows. The Backland UL employs a durable Hybrid EPP in-mold shell with Holocore and AMID beneath to cut weight while also providing us with up to 40% higher impact protection than industry safety standards. Plus we appreciate that the lightweight liner fabric is ideal for both winter tours and summer bike rides and is made from recycled material for eco-friendly comfort.
